Individual Therapy

Adults, Teens, and Tweens

My philosophy in therapy is to meet my patients where they’re at and then, more importantly, to help them explore and map out where they’d like to go. I use a blend of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), psychodynamic psychotherapy, mindfulness based stress reduction (MBSR), and a healthy dose of humor, wit, and compassion. In my work with teens and tweens, I also incorporate parent management training and close consultation with the family.

Couples Counseling

Conflict in relationships is inevitable. Even the healthiest of couples and relationship partners experience some degree of conflict in their lives. If you feel you are not being seen or heard in your relationship, take the first step to repair the emotional wounds that have developed by booking a consultation today with your loved one.

ADHD Evaluation and Treatment

ADHD is a neurodevelopmental disorder with roots in childhood and impairments in functioning that can reach far into adolescence and adulthood. ADHD is often underdiagnosed in women and girls as well as people of color. I offer a thorough ADHD evaluation process informed by years of working in research and clinical settings studying and treating ADHD across the lifespan. If an ADHD diagnosis is made, I will work with you to ensure that appropriate and effective accommodations are made to help my patients thrive, including attending IEP meetings and/or developing an accommodation plan in the school or work setting.
